Myrotvorets Center (volunteer center Peacemaker) is deeply concerned with the attacks by spokesperson of Germany’s Federal Foreign Office on freedom of speech and freedom of spreading socially important information regarding Russian-backed terrorist organizations and Russia’s crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainian nation.

We consider the spokesperson’s comments on activity of the Myrotvorets Center as an attempt to impede the professional work of our journalists and scholars doing research regarding crimes against national security of Ukraine, peace, global security, international law and order

We are deeply surprised that the spokesperson’s statement literally coincides with those made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian occupants and supported by pro-Russian terrorist organizations.

What is interesting – the statement was done by the spokesperson after Gerhard Schröder, chairman of Rosneft and a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, publicly expressed his support of Russian aggression against Ukraine. On demand of his Russian bosses Mr. Schröder made another attempt to legitimate Russian attack on Ukraine and the annexation of Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula.

We consider the spokesperson’s rhetoric and demands as an attempt to suppress the evidence of Russian aggression against the people of Ukraine, deny facts of Russian military forces’ participation in the military operations in Ukraine sweeping down information about mercenaries and militants who participate in committing military and especially grave crimes.
